This blend is 75% Merlot from the estate and 25% Cab Sauv from Naramata. The Merlot was harvested Oct 1st and the Cab Sauv Oct 26th. The wines were individually fermented and pressed off after 28 days on skins and then blended. The maturation was 12 months in French oak barriques, 10% new and 90% older. Beautiful in its youth with bright freshness, I'm certain this wine will develop into a black forest of aroma and flavours.
